
Barry Sink, P.E.
Barry Sink joined Fricke Management early 2010 with over 30 years of combined project engineering and management experience in the coal, cement, and environmental industries. Barry is a State of Illinois Registered Professional Engineer and a graduate of University of Missouri Rolla with a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
He has 20 years of coal industry experience with Old Ben and Zeigler Coal Companies holding various project engineering and engineering management positions. His experience covers a wide range of capital and maintenance projects in the coal industry including materials handling, coal storage, preparation plant maintenance and repair, mine shaft consturction, and auxiliary facility construction including wash house, ventilation fan and rock dust facilities.
Barry has six years of project management experience in the cement industry at the Lafarge, Joppa Plant. Capital projects included storage, materials handling, and river barge loading/unloading facilities for clinker, limestone, clay, coal, coke, gypsum, kiln dust and cement.
Barry's experience also includes professional engineering and general management services for United Science Industries related to environmental remediation.
While at FMC Inc., Barry has provided project management and field engineering services for the Prairie State Generating Company Materials Handling System - Liveloy Grove Portal. He now supports various FMC projects.
