
James W. Ridgway
James Ridgway has been an estimator/project coordinator with Fricke Management & Contracting since 2001.
Mr. Ridgway has been involved in the Southern Illinois construction industry for over 24 years in a variety of capacities. He gained considerable on the job training as a laborer for his father’s commercial contracting business, eventually working his way up to a working superintendent, managing statewide projects for several large telecom companies.
Mr. Ridgway received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in 1989.
Prior to coming on board with the Fricke’s in 2001, Mr. Ridgway worked for a prominent Southern Illinois architectural firm. Some of his responsibilities included business development, human resources, purchasing and plan review.
Mr. Ridgway has been involved with most Fricke Management projects, in some capacity, ranging from the estimation and bidding process to project management and close out. These projects include the Prairie States Generating Company Material Handling System - Lively Grove Portal, River View Coal Material Handling and Coal Storage Facility at Uniontown Kentucky, and the Fluor Glocbal Services Material Handling System an the Vigo Friendsville Mine.
